01Program Description
Kumon Geist operates an SMS messaging program to communicate with parents and legal guardians of enrolled or prospective students. Messages may include student attendance or missed-class reminders, appointment reminders, schedule updates, center closure notices, enrollment follow-ups, and other administrative information related to your child's participation at the center.
This is a parent-communication program, not a general marketing text program.
02How to Opt In
Consent to receive SMS messages is collected in person at the center. A parent or legal guardian must sign a written SMS Consent Form before any messages are sent. By signing the form, you agree to receive SMS messages from Kumon Geist at the mobile number you provide.
Consent is not required as a condition of enrollment or purchase of any goods or services.
03Message Frequency
Message frequency varies, up to approximately 12 messages per month.
04Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Please check with your mobile carrier for details about your plan.
05How to Opt Out
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent.

07No Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data to third parties for their own marketing purposes. Your consent to receive SMS messages is not transferable.
Your information may be shared with Twilio Inc. solely for the purpose of delivering SMS messages on our behalf. Twilio is contractually obligated to keep your information confidential.
08Supported Carriers
SMS messaging is available on all major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and others. Carrier support is not guaranteed for all carriers.
